Profile Statement

I received my first degree in Philosophy and Psychology with a first class and PhD in Psychology from University of Sri Jayewardanepura, Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy, Sri Lanka Mental Health Foundation, Diploma in Counselling Psychology, Sri Lanka Mental Health Foundation, Diploma in English from Aquinas College, Colombo. I worked as a temporary lecturer in the University of Sri Jayewardanepura for one and half-year. Later, Joined the Department of Philosophy in 2011 as a probationary lecturer. Currently, I have been working as a senior lecture in the Department of Philosophy, attached to the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya. Moreover, I have been working as a visiting lecturer at the Department of Philosophy and Psychology in University of Sri Jayewardanepura, and as a resource person in Diploma in Counselling, Diploma in Rehabilitation and Correction, Diploma in Sport Management, Diploma in Buddhist Counselling in University of Kelaniya. Diploma in Criminology in University of Sri Jayewardanepura and I have been working as a resource person in National Police Academy, and I am contributing as an evaluator in Postgraduate faculties as well.
