The students of the Department of Sociology won the championship of the Inter-Department Phronesis Mind, 2022. This quiz competition is an annual quiz competition organized by the Department of Social Statistics, University of Kelaniya. Mr Lahiru Pathirathna (BA (Hons.) in Sociology – 3rd Year), Mr Udara Jayawardhana (BA (Hons.) in Sociology – 3rd Year), Mr Chathura Wickramanayake (BA (Hons.) in Sociology – 3rd Year), Mr Anushka Madhushan (BA (Hons.) in Sociology – 2nd Year) and Ms Nadeeshani Dissanayake (BA (Hons.) in Sociology – 2nd Year) were the contestants who represented the Department of Sociology. Mr Lahiru Pathirathna (BA (Hons.) in Sociology – 3rd Year), was selected as the “Best Performance” of the quiz.
