Factory Visit –Kohoku Lanka Pvt Ltd - Katunayake Export Processing Zone
Special first-year undergraduates of the Department of Economics, University of Kelaniya, had
the opportunity to visit Kohoku Lanka Pvt Ltd of the Katunayake export processing zone on the
14 th of March and the 28 th of March 2025. This industrial visit provided valuable knowledge and
experience for the students in terms of foreign Direct Investments and the challenges faced by
investors. Sincere appreciation to Kohoku Lanka Pvt Ltd for arranging this visit to enhance
students' knowledge in the industrial sector in Sri Lanka.
