The 54th Meeting of the Sri Lanka Forum of University Economists (SLFEU) was hosted by the Department of Economics, University of Kelaniya, on 13 June 2025. The event featured a technical workshop on “Using NVivo in Research” conducted by Dr. Nilantha Ramanayake, a keynote speech by Dr. Ganeshan Wignaraja on global trade and geopolitics, and the pre-review of the Sri Lanka Journal of Economic Research (Vol. 12, No. 2) by Senior Professor M. M. Gunatilake, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences. The programme included a welcome address by Senior Professor W. M. Semasinghe and an address by Senior Professor Nilanthi Renuka de Silva, Vice Chancellor, University of Kelaniya.
