A special guest lecture on “The Sri Lankan economy after 75 years of independence" was held on 21^st February 2023 at the Social Sciences Faculty Auditorium. The speaker was Dr. W. A. Wijewardhana, former Deputy Governor, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The objective of this guest lecture was to share knowledge of the present status in the Sri Lankan Economy and Beyond. Undergraduates and members of the academic staff of the faculty participated at this event.
