Selection students for the Geography / Development Studies (Honours) Degree Programme
Academic Year 2023/2024
Ø All eligible students who wish to register for the Geography / Development Studies (Honors) Degree Program (Sinhala or English Medium) are required to complete and submit the following Google Form on or before 4:00 p.m. on 20th June 2025.
Ø (Only for English Medium applicants) English Medium applicants will be invited to sit for the English Language Proficiency Test, which will be held on Monday, 23rd June 2025 at 8:00 a.m. in the K3 Computer Laboratory at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Since we have limited facilities in the lab, candidates may also use their personal laptops for the test.
Ø (For both Sinhala/English medium applicants) Shortlisted candidates (priority will be given to those with the highest GPAs) will be called for an interview scheduled on 24th June 2025 at the department premises. Student numbers and allocated time slots for the interview will be published by 4:00 p.m. on 23rd June 2025.
Ø The final list of selected students for the Geography/Development Studies (Honours) Degree Programme will be displayed on the department notice board on the morning of 25th June 2025. Please note that a two-day appeal period will be granted for students to submit any special requests or appeals.
- භූගෝලවිද්‍යාව / සංවර්ධන අධ්‍යයනය ශාස්ත්‍රවේදී (ගෞරව) උපාධි පාඨමාලාව (සිංහල/ඉංග්‍රීසි මාධ්‍ය) හැදෑරීමට අපේක්ෂිත, සුදුසුකම් ලත් සියලු විද්‍යාර්ථයින් 2025 ජුනි 20 වන දින පස්වරු 4:00 ට පෙර පහත ගූගල් පෝරමය සම්පූර්ණ කර ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතුය.
- (ඉංග්‍රීසි මාධ්‍ය අයදුම්කරුවන් සඳහා පමණි) ඉංග්‍රීසි මාධ්‍ය පාඨමාලාව සඳහා අයදුම්කරන ලද අපේක්ෂකයින්ට පමණක් ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂා ප්‍රවීණතා පරීක්ෂණය සඳහා පෙනී සිටීමට අවස්තාව හිමි වන අතර, එය 2025 ජුනි 23 වන සඳුදා පෙ.ව. 8:00 ට සමාජීය විද්‍යා පීඨ K3 පරිගණක විද්‍යාගාරයේදී පැවැත්වේ. අපගේ විද්‍යාගාරයේ සීමිත පහසුකම් ඇති බැවින්, අපේක්ෂකයින්ට පරීක්ෂණය සඳහා ඔවුන්ගේ පුද්ගලික ලැප්ටොප් පරිගණක ද භාවිතා කළ හැකිය.
- (සිංහල/ඉංග්‍රීසි මාධ්‍ය අයදුම්කරුවන් සඳහා) කෙටි ලැයිස්තුගත අපේක්ෂකයින් (ඉහළම GPA ලකුණු ඇති අයට ප්‍රමුඛතාවය දෙනු ලැබේ) 2025 ජුනි 24 වන දින දෙපාර්තමේන්තු පරිශ්‍රයේදී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණයක් සඳහා කැඳවනු ලැබේ. සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණය සඳහා ශිෂ්‍ය අංක සහ වෙන් කර ඇති වේලාවන් 2025 ජුනි 23 වන දින සවස 4:00 ට ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කෙරේ.
- භූගෝල විද්‍යා/ සංවර්ධන අධ්‍යයනය (ගෞරව) උපාධි පාඨමාලාව සඳහා තෝරාගත් සිසුන්ගේ අවසාන ලැයිස්තුව 2025 ජුනි 25 වන දින උදෑසන දෙපාර්තමේන්තු දැන්වීම් පුවරුවේ ප්‍රදර්ශනය කෙරේ. විශේෂ ඉල්ලීම් හෝ අභියාචනා ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම සඳහා සිසුන්ට දින දෙකක අභියාචනා කාලයක් පමණක් ලබා දෙන බව කරුණාවෙන් සලකන්න.
