Certificate awarding ceremony for Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) 2nd batch and Diploma in Disaster Management 7th batch was held on 4th April 2021 at the auditorium, Faculty of Social Sciences with the participation of Professor M.M. Gunathilaka, the Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, the University of Kelaniya as the chief guest. Senior Professor and Chair R.K.L.M. Dharmasiri, Department of Geography, University of Kelaniya, addressed the Keynote speech. The head of the Department of Geography and several other staff members of the Department of Geography participated in this distinguished occasion.
