Launch of the Journal of International Studies 2019

3^rd International Studies Students’ Research Symposium together with the launch of the Journal of International Studies 2019 were held on 8^th January 2020 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The event was graced by the Director of Bandaranaike Center for International Studies, Dr.Harinda Vidanage as the Chief Guest. This is an annual event organized by the Department of International Studies which provides a platform for the undergraduates of the Department of International Studies to showcase their research, academic writing and analytical skills in the field of International Studies.

40 undergraduates of the Department of International Studies presented their research at the              3^rd International Studies Students’ Research Symposium preparing them to be young academics to the field. The Journal of International Studies consisted of 13 articles written by students on various timely international relations related topics which was a praiseworthy effort by the students.
