Course Aims:

Intended Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate their competences on management principles and techniques and adopt the same for any library and information center management. Also, they will be able to solve problems in working environment and display professionalism.

Course Content: (Main topics, Sub topics)

Introduction to management and its functions, principles and theories of management, library management, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Total Quality Management, Marketing Management, Time Management, Financial Management, Library budget and budgeting, Management Information Systems (MIS). Office Management in libraries. Library statistics, records and reports.
