Course Aims:

Intended Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course, students will be able to acquire following skills and competencies

  • Use of different database management systems
  • Create and develop simple programmes for different library activities
  • Web designing and maintenance
  • Apply desktop publishing
  • Adjust to any automated environment.

Course Content: (Main topics, Sub topics)

Database Management Systems (DBMS) (Including SQL, Mysql), PHP Programming (PHP), Script Programming; Java Scripting Languages, Web Designing (Dreamview, HTML Basic Commands. Introduction to desktop publishing.
