Book Fair for the Commemoration of National Reading Month

A book fair and a book exchange programme organized by the Library and Information Science Students’ Association of the Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Social sciences was held on the 04th and 05th of October 2018 at the premises of the Faculty of Social Sciences. This was organized with the objective of commemorating the National Reading Month.

The National Library Board, Nine Publications and Sakura Stationaries specially participated in the book fair and it also comprised of a special stall named ‘Lecturer Publication’, containing the books written by the academic staff members.

Senior Lecturer Dr. Namali Suraweera, Head- Library and Information Science and its academic staff members, staff members of National Library Board, representatives from other publishing institutes and undergraduates graced the occasion.
