Syllabus Revision Program on Library and Information Science
Two-day program on Syllabus revision of Special, General Syllabuses, Diploma Course in Library and Information Science was held on the 12th, 13th of February 2019 at Pegasus Reef Hotel, Wattala. The program was help with the objective of revising the syllabus examining curriculum models, assessing strategies and developing the syllabus with current updates in the field. It was target to improve the employability of students and re-define their graduate profile. The workshop covered Sri Lanka Qualification Framework (SLQF), Benchmark Statement of Library and Information in Special and general Degree programs in producing skillful graduates.
