Inauguration of Diploma & Higher Diploma in Library and Information Science 2019

The inauguration of the Diploma & Higher Diploma in Library and Information Science 2019 offered by the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kelaniya was held on the 09th of June 2019 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Present at the occasion were Senior Prof. Lakshman Senevirathne, Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Prof. A.H.M.H. Abayarathna, Dean- Faculty of Social Sciences, Senior Lecturer Dr. Namali Suraweera, Head- Department of Library and Information Science, academic staff members of the department and the newly enrolled students. Emeritus Prof. Kulathilaka Kumarasinghe, Chief Editor- Sinhala Encyclopedia delivered the keynote address of the event.
