Launching ceremony of the book titled "පුස්තකාල හා විඥාපන විද්යා සිසුන් සඳහා තොරතුරු සහ සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණය”
Launching ceremony of the book titled "පුස්තකාල හා විඥාපන විද්යා සිසුන් සඳහා තොරතුරු සහ සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණය” (Information Communication Technology for Library and Information Science Students) authored by Senior Lecturer Nadeeka Rathnabahu and Mr Nimal Hettiarachchi was held on the 14th of October 2022 at the Board Room, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya.
The Launching ceremony was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor M.M. Gunatilake, Head of the Department of Library and Information Science (DLIS), Snr.Prof. M.K Weerasinghe, Snr.Prof.W.A Weerasooriya, and the Librarian University of Kelaniya, Dr C.C. Jayasundara.
Staff members of the Department of Library and Information Science, the Head Department of Sociology, Prof. D.M. Ubesekara Dissanayake & Prof. K.M. Geethani Amarathunga, and the distinguished invitees graced the occasion.
Senior Lecturer Dr Namali Suraweera delivered a special talk on the book.
The first copy was handed over to the vice-chancellor Prof.Nilanthi De Silva, at the Vice Chancellor's office on 13th October 2022. See more......
