Signing MoU between University of Kelaniya and Central Bank of Sri Lanka
An MoU was signed between the University of Kelaniya and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) at the Office of Vice-Chancellor, University of Kelaniya on 16th June 2023.
This MoU was signed as a collaborative venture with the aim of offering training for Library and Information Science (LIS) graduates of the Department of Library and Information Science (DLIS) University of Kelaniya, via Library and Information Centre (LIC) attached to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Other objectives of this training opportunity are to develop skills of LIS graduates in Library automation, database management, use of KOHA software and to study technical services. In addition to that, the LIS graduates will have a golden opportunity to apprehend the valuable reference sources, rich collections of works and other databases of the LIC, Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
