Course Aims:

Intended Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course, students will be able to construct a variety of library catalogues for a verity of library materials using AACR 2.

Course Content: (Main topics, Sub topics)

Cataloguing practical at various levels using AACR 2; Subject cataloguing; Thesaurus construction; Use of subject headings using LCSH and Sears List.
