Course Aims:

Intended Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course, students will be able to compare and the current the objectives and functions of national and international information systems, services related to various subjects and disciplines.

Course Content: (Main topics, Sub topics)

Information systems; Components of information system analysis and design, Information networks, National Information systems, International information systems and services. INIS, AGRIS, INSPEC, MEDLARS, OCLC, DIALOG.
