The distribution of certificates to the students who have successfully completed the Diploma in Mass Communication, Diploma in Public Relations and Media Management, and Higher Diploma in Public Relations

offered by the Department of Mass Communication, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya was held on the 22^nd of January at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences. A hundred students were awarded certificates in this event, creating opportunities for them to excel in their careers. Prof. M. M. Gunathilake, Dean - of the Faculty of Social Sciences graced the event as the Chief Guest. The keynote speech of the event was delivered by the famous Sri Lankan vocalist Santhush Weeraman. Moreover, Senior Lecturer Wijayananda Rupasinghe, Head - of the Department of Mass Communication, Senior Lecturer Dinithi Jayasekara, course coordinator of the Diploma in Mass Communication, Senior Lecturer Samanthika Priyadarshani, course coordinator of the Diploma in Public Relations and Media Management, Senior Lecturer Darshana Somarathne, course coordinator of the Higher Diploma in Public Relations, and members of the academic staff were also present at the occasion.
