Course Aims:

Intended Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course, students will be able to access virtual and digital libraries and manage information systems. They also will gain skills to create and design digital libraries.

Course Content: (Main topics, Sub topics)

Introduction to Digital Libraries, Digital Library standards, archiving and preservation, processes and procedures ; Digital Library software, installation and building and maintenance of digital libraries, evaluation and user studies, search engine visibility;Handling multilingualism; New computer paradigms.
