Ms Amali Uthpala Nandasiri completed her BA (Special) Degree in Mass Communication, with a First class Division in 2013 for her first degree. She completed her Post - graduate Studies in Master of Philosophy (M.phil) Degree from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka in 2016. She won the 'Shelton Gunarathne' Scholarship for her highest GPA marks of BA (Special) Degree in Mass Communication Examination in 2012, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya in 2013. She was selected as the Best Student of Print Media (Sinhala), The Diploma in Print & Electronic Media Journalism in Sri Lanka College of Journalism, Colombo in 2008. Her research interests are Public Relations, Cultural and traditional Communication, Literature and Language, Print Media and Broadcasting Media. Her recent academic research is focused on Communicational meanings of Public Relations and Management methods depicted in Sri Lankan Culture. Moreover, she has published four academic publications and newspaper articles through her academic research. She explores the multiple Communication Competencies of Traditional Sinhala Literature' that emphasis social, communicational, aesthetic and philosophical perspectives.
