Ayesh Madushanka Wijayasinghe completed his BA (Special) Degree in Mass Communication, being the top of his batch scoring 3.85 GPA with a second-class upper division in 2016 for his first degree. He has completed, Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) Degree in Mass Communication, University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. He joined the department of Mass Communication at the University of Kelaniya as a temporary assistant lecturer in 2016. Then he appointed as the youngest Assistant Press Commissioner in the Sri Lanka Press Council at the age of 26. He represented Sri Lanka in the World Associations of Press Councils (WAPC) held in Azerbaijan in 2019 and he was appreciated by delivering a speech on the topic of “Easter Sunday Attack and the Role of the Journalist”. He worked as a volunteer in media division when he was an undergraduate in several international events such as CHOGM 2013 and World Conference on Youth 2014. He was a player of the table tennis team at the University of Kelaniya who has won the university colors and international championships. His research interests are Public Relations, Image Building, Event Management, and Crisis Management. At present, he works as a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Mass Communication, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
