Welcome party for the newcomers of mass communication held 23th of July. ‘Aloha’, a cultural Hawaiian greeting with warm love and corporation colored the evening with great success. In advance to welcome newcomers, Seniors performed Couple dances, Nissara Sansara Girls Dance, Mohibi Moraca Dance, and several cultural dances at this outdoor night party. And everyone enjoyed the couple drama staged by seniors. The well-planned and uncommon presentation of seniors gave uniqueness to the event and juniors introduced themselves with hope and love. Newcomers spent a great time as they interacted with seniors. A few games have been planned which they enjoyed much. Newcomers had the opportunity to perform with dance and song items at the event. Head of the Department Sen. Lec. Wijayananda Rupasinghe and staff members of the department took part in the welcome party. And the event was followed by a DJ party.
