The second research discussion session "I and My research" was successfully held on 12th September 2022 at the Department's audio-visual studio. The Communication Research Unit organized the discussion (CRU), targeting the academic staff members of the Department of Mass Communication to identify and understand each otherโs specialized research fields and discuss the significant findings. Further, to create a friendly, stress-free environment where the academic members can share their knowledge while having quality time with peers.
The day's presenter was senior lecturer Samanthika Priyadarshani. She explained how her research interests evolved over a period of time and currently how she is studying the cinema using a philosophical perspective. All the academic staff members were present at the discussion.
The session was dismissed after a fruitful conversation and then having a nice cup of tea with the plan of gathering the following Monday for another compelling research discussion.
