2017- 2004 Conservation of Archaeological sites – Nearly Three Thousand Five Hundred (3500) sites were conserved by using Architectural and Chemical Conservation Principles during the period
2016 –2015 Explorations in Eastern Province –Investigated Ampara and Batticala District
2008-2007 Explorations in the entire Northern Province soon after the war by specially assigned archaeological teams as a consequence four hundred (400) sites were discovered.
2003 Elahera Haththota Amuna Impact Assessment Survey – six sqkm of the area threatened to be submerged by the proposed Kaluganga Reservoir had been investigated and as a result sixty (60) archaeological sites have been identified and precisely documented.
2000- Southern Highway Project – Explored trace of Southern Highway to detect the impact on Archaeological sites of the proposed highway. Sixty (60) sites were discovered and proposed to adjust the highway to avoid the impact.
1987- Participated in the Excavations at the Anuradhapura Inner Citadel. This was conducted by the Post Graduate Institute of Archaeology, University of Kelaniya, and The Department of Archaeology in Sri Lanka.
1984 – Participated in the Excavations at Sigiriya Ancient City and Ibbankatuwa Megalithic site.
1983- Excavation at Manthai of Mannar conducted by the Department of Archelogy and the University of Harvard.
1999- Conducted a detailed survey both inside and outside the ancient Citadel of Yapahuwa for the first time. This allowed us to gain insight into the administrative center during the Medieval Period of Sri Lanka.
1998 – Exploration of Narammala Divisional Secretariate Division studied the distribution of prehistoric and historical settlements for the first time and discovered there was a high density of Mesolithic and historical Period sites in the area.
1997 – Exploration of Alawwa Divisional Secretaries Division – Main Objective of this exploration was to study settlement patterns in the historic period.
1997- Exploration of Udahewahate Divisional Secretaries' Division- An Area of 100 sqkm was covered under this exploration and as a result Sixty- Three (63) Archaeological Sites were discovered.
