At the end of the unit student should be able to:

Understand and apply various theories connected with the study of Communication and its application to the study of the same. The student get the chance to evaluate the concepts connected with the theories and the practice of the same

Course Content

Communication theories and concepts; Biological theories, Sociological

Theories, Communist theory, Marxist theory, Gender theories. Oriental

theories , Cultural theories, Religious theories, Historical theories Industrial

theories and Other emerging theories in Sri Lanka and  other Asian Countries.
