Learning outcomes:

At the end of the unit student should be able to:

Apply various theories connected with the study of media ethics and its application to the study of Mass communication. The student who studies these aspects of ethics will have the chance to formulate, innovate and present media messages.

Course Content

What is meant by ethics? Philosophical background in Ethics, social ethics, media ethics, the difference between the natural law and artificial  law(man made),taboo, censorship(media and social) ,family, moral ethics, evolution  of ethics, human values and other values, media ethics, professional ethics ,advertising ethics, ethics based on political and economic reporting.
